2. Electric energy consumed if the motor is used for 5 hours daily for 6 days.
3. Total cost of energy consumed if the rate of one unit is 5.

Given: Voltage (V) = 220 V; Power (P) = 1100 W

(i) Electric current drawn,

I = `P/V`

I = `1100/220`

I = 5A

(ii) Energy consumed (E) = Power (P) × time (t)

= 1100 × 30

= 33000 W

= 33 KWh

(iii) Cost of Energy Consumed = 33 × 5 = 165
