(i) \[\text{P} = \frac{\text{V}^{2}}{\text{R}}\]
\[= \frac{24 \times 24}{8}\]

(ii) \[\text{R} = \frac{\text{V}}{\text{I}}\]
\[\therefore \text{I} = \frac{\text{V}}{\text{R}}\]
\[= \frac{24}{8}\]
= 3 A
