Yes, the pictures show conditions that are not conducive to healthy community living. Overcrowding, stagnant water and heaps of garbage can encourage the spread of disease. Houses near railway tracks also put residents, especially children, at risk of accidents. Limited sanitation and poor infrastructure further affect health and safety.
