उत्तर
We have,
A solid metal bar is in the shape of a cuboid of length 250 cm and volume 4840 cm3.
Now we know that,
Volume of a cuboid = (Length) × (Breadth) × (Height)
Given that, the cross-section is a square of side x cm
Then,
Volume of a cuboid = Area of square × Length
Volume of a cuboid = x × x × Length
x2 × 250 = 4840
`x^2 = 4840/250 = 19.36`
`x = sqrt(1936/100)`
= `44/10`
= 4.4 cm
Therefore, the value of x is 4.4 cm
