उत्तर
S.P. of 4 identical kites = Rs.12
S.P. = `((100 + "Profit")/100) xx "C.P."`
⇒ 12 = `((100 + 20)/100) xx "C.P."`
⇒ 1200 - (100 + 20) x C.P.
⇒ `(1200)/(120)` = C.P.
⇒ C.P. = Rs.10
So, the C.P. of 1 kite
= Rs.`(10)/(4)`
= Rs.`(5)/(2)`
Now, S.P. of 6 kites = Rs.24
So, S.P. of 1 kite
= Rs.`(24)/(6)`
= Rs.4
Profit = S.P. - C.P.
= Rs. 4 - Rs.`(5)/(2)`
= Rs.`(3)/(2)`
Profit % = `"Profit"/"C.P." xx 100`
= `(3/2)/(5/2) xx 100`
= `(3)/(5) xx 100`
= 60%
Hence, his gain percent is 60%.
