उत्तर १

When a coin is tossed once, the possible outcomes are H and T.

Total number of possible outcomes = 2

Favourable outcome = 1

∴ Probability of getting a tail =  P (T)

=`"Number of favourable outcomes"/"Total number of possible outcomes" = 1/2`

उत्तर २

Sample space (S) = {H, T}
∴ n(S) = 2

Event (E) = {T}
∴ n(E) = 1

P(E) = `"n(E)"/"n(s)" = 1/2`.
