Quantity of milk = ` 60 xx 11/15 = 44` litres
Quantity of water in it= 60-44 = 16 litres
New ratio= 11:6
Let quantity of water to be added further be x litres.
Then, milk : water = `44/(16 + "x")`
Now ,
`44/(16 + "x") = 11/6`
⇒ 264 = 176 + 11x
⇒ 11x = 88
⇒ x = 8
Therefore, 8 litres of water need to be added further.
