उत्तर

Money in hand = ₹ 2400

Money spent on buying clothes

= `3/5` of ₹ 2400

= `3/5 xx 2400`

= 3 × 480

= ₹ 1440

Remaining money = Total money - money spent on cloth

= ₹ 2400 - ₹ 1440

= ₹ 960

Now, boy spent `1/4` of the remaining money on buying shoes.

∴ Money spent on buying shoes

= ₹ `960 xx 1/4`

= ₹ 240
