उत्तर

Old ratio:

`A : B : C = 1/5 : 1/3 : 7/15`

Taking LCM 15:

`A : B : C = 3 : 5 : 7`

C's share = `7/15`, and it is acquired by A and B in the ratio 3 : 2.

New Shares

A's share:

`1/5 + 7/15 xx 3/5 = 1/5 + 7/25 = 12/25`

B's share:

`1/3 + 7/15 xx 2/5 = 1/3 + 14/75 = 39/75 = 13/25`

Therefore,

New Ratio = A : B = 12 : 13
