The JEE Advanced is an entrance exam that is conducted at an all India basis for candidates who wish to be admitted to various IIT's & NIT's to study undergraduate courses in Engineering & Architecture. The JEE Advanced has two question papers, duration of each is three hours. The question papers are bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi. Each question paper consists of three separate sections on physics, chemistry and mathematics. Candidate can take this test only after writing JEE Main test. Examination score of JEE Main is required to take JEE Advanced test.

Schedule of JEE (Advanced) 2026
The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Appearing in both the papers is compulsory. The examination schedule is as follows:
