Speed:

Speed tells us how fast an object is moving. It is the distance an object travels in a certain amount of time. For example, if a bus covers 200 kilometres in 5 hours, its speed tells us how far it goes in one hour. 

  • Speed is calculated by dividing the distance by the time.
  • Formula:

  • Kilometre per hour (km/h): Used for long distances like travelling between cities.
  • Meter per second (m/s): Used for shorter distances or scientific measurements.
