Sinhgad College of Architecture

The Sinhgad College of Architecture (SCOA) came to life in the year 2000-2001 for nurturing the creative skills of talented students. To set their minds free and imagination soaring, the course is conducted in the picturesque locale of a hilltop. Experienced, qualified and expert faculty members, comprehensive syllabus and extensive facilities add tremendous value in enhancing the students' knowledge and creative flair to ensure all-round development of students by organizing seminars, workshops, tours and other extra-curricular activities all year round.

Affiliations:

The Sinhgad College of Architecture is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. Also, it is affiliated to the University of Pune. All the norms prescribed by the University are strictly adhered to and joint efforts are made continuously to improve the level of education.

Teaching Methodology:

Architecture is a part of the overall culture and cannot exist in a vacuum. In order to develop the budding architects on excellent lines, it is therefore necessary to go BEYOND THE CLASSROOM and give wider exposure to the students. With this objective in mind, extra classes, guest lectures and workshops are arranged after the regular college hours at no extra charge.

Our Achievements: The Sinhgad College of Architecture, in a short span of 12 years since its inception, has achieved the status of one of the top ten colleges in India. Our students have bagged many awards at the national level competitions in academic as well as co-curricular & extra-curricular activities. The college believes in overall development of the students to make them competitive in the globalised world today, by providing excellent infrastructure, faculty and a conducive teaching-learning environment.
