Shri Bansidhar Aggarwal Model School and Junior College

Shri Bansidhar Aggarwal Model School and Junior College Wadala -Established in the year 1957 (under the auspices of Shri Bansidhar Aggarwal Charity Trust) Shri Bansidhar Aggarwal Model school has rendered yeomen service to the society, especially to the weaker section. It is a co-educational institution having classes from K.G. to Higher Secondary (Commerce). It has been maintaining a very distinguished academic record ever since its inception.

The school has worked hard to prove worthy to its motto. In the process of its long struggle of progress, it has seen many ups and downs. The school has been fortunate enough to get guidance of experienced and able Principals and teaching staff. The school is proud of the students like Shri.Hariharan, Smt. Manju Ganeriwal, Shri.Saidas Ranade and many others who have established themselves as reputed scientists and important dignitaries in U.S.A.

The school has about 1600 students and 56 members of the teaching staff in its various sections at present. It has well-equipped spacious laboratories, library room, Gymnasium, and a sports room. About 6000 books of various fields are distributed every year to the students for reading.

The school pays equal attention to the physical growth of the students providing facilities in various sports and games. In the field of Volleyball it has excelled by representing the State of Maharashtra in National Games. This feature has been repeated for about 10 years and many of our students were selected for Sports—scholarships and some to the admission to the National Sports Institution (N.S.I.) where the Government bears the entire expenditure on studies and sports of sportsmen till they pursue their studies. This of course, is a unique achievement in itself. The students are encouraged to play other indoor games, also.
