उत्तर

The value of the discriminant of the equation, 3x2 = –11x – 10, is 1.

Explanation:

Put the equation in standard form:

3x2 + 11x + 10 = 0

For a quadratic ax2 + bx + c = 0 the discriminant is D = b2 – 4ac.

Here a = 3, b = 11, c = 10.

So, D = 112 – 4 × 3 × 10

= 121 – 120

= 1
