These awards serve as inspiration to other children and motivate them to follow in their footsteps. Similarly, the government should institute National Environment Crusader Awards for children who dedicate themselves to spreading awareness about saving the environment. Write a letter to the editor of a national daily, in 120 words, expressing your views on the above. Use you own ideas along with ideas from the unit Environment, to write the letter.

Subject: Instituting National Environment Crusader Awards for Children

Sir/Madam

In order to recognize young people who actively raise awareness about protecting the environment, I am writing to propose the creation of the National Environment Crusader Awards. Similar to the National Bravery Awards, these honors would be given to young people who are committed to preserving the environment. This program would inspire a more ecologically conscious society and encourage more pupils to engage in eco-friendly activities.

By acknowledging these kids’ efforts, we can encourage others to follow suit, which will eventually result in a sustainable future. These prizes could be given in a number of areas, including energy reduction, trash management, tree planting campaigns, and creative environmental initiatives. By recognizing their efforts, we can encourage the next generation to assume leadership roles in environmental preservation and help ensure a sustainable future for everyone.
