We have,

The dimensions of a rectangular solid are 36 cm by 75 cm by 80 cm

Now we know that,

Volume of a cuboid = (Length) × (Breadth) × (Height)

 Then, volume of a rectangular solid = 36 × 75 × 80 cm3

= 216000 cm3

Now, volume of the rectangular solid = Volume of the cube

Volume of the cube = 216000 cm3

(Edge)3 = 216000 cm3

Edge = `root(3)(60 xx 60 xx 60)`

Edge = 60 cm

Therefore, the edge of a cube whose volume is the same as that of this solid is 60 cm.
