उत्तर

Arrhenius proposed the Arrhenius equation, a simple equation that takes into account the idea of activation energy. The equation provides a relationship between the system's temperature and the rate constant (k) of a reaction, therefore the rate of reaction. The following is an expression for the Arrhenius equation.

`k = A e^(-E_a//RT)`

where the frequency of binary collisions of reactant molecules per second per litre is determined by a constant called the frequency factor, or A. It can be determined by experiment. T is the system’s temperature (in Kelvin), R is the gas constant, and Ea is the activation energy.
