So, `(AD)/(AB) = 3/8`
In ΔADE and ΔABC,
∠ADE = ∠ABC ...(Since DE || BC, so the angles are corresponding angles)
∠A = ∠A ...(Common angle)
∴ ΔADE ∼ ΔABC ...(AA criterion for similarity)
`=> (AD)/(AB) = (AE)/(AC)`
`=> (AE)/(AC) = 3/8`
