Explanation:

If `x/2 + 2/y` = 1  ......(i)

Put x = 1 and y = 4

∴ `1/2 + 2/4` = 1

⇒ `1/2 + 1/2` = 1

⇒ 1 = 1

And `y/2 + 2/z` = 1

Putting the value of 'y'

⇒ `4/2 + 2/z` = 1

⇒ `2 + 2/z` = 1

⇒ `2/z` = – 1

⇒ z = – 2

Then value of 

⇒ `z/2 + 2/x = (-2)/2 + 2/1` = – 1 + 2 = 1
