⇒ `dx/(dθ) = - a sin θ, dy/(dθ) = b cos θ`

⇒ `dy/dx = (b cos θ)/(-a sin θ)`

= `- b/a cot θ`

⇒ `(d^2y)/(dx^2) = b/a "cosec"^2θ xx (dθ)/dx`

= `b/a "cosec"^2θ xx ((-1))/(a sin θ)`

⇒ `(d^2y)/(dx^2) = - b/a^2 "cosec"^3θ`
