`"P"(bar"A" ∪ bar"B") = "P"(bar("A" ∪ "B"))`

= 1 – P(A ∩ B)

Since A and B are mutually exclusive we have A ∩ B = Φ

∴ P(A ∩ B) = 0

`"P"(bar"A" ∪ bar"B")` = 1 – 0 = 1
