Since the diameter of the circle is the diagonal of the square inscribed in the circle.
Let a be the length of the sides of the square.
Hence,
`sqrt2a` = 2 x 7
a = `sqrt2` x 7
a2 = 98
Hence the area of the square is 98 sq.cm.
