Frequency is number of vibrations produced per second.
Given: Frequency f = 128 Hz
Wavelength λ = 2.7 m
We know the relation between velocity, frequency, and wavelength ν = f × λ,
where ν is the velocity, f the frequency, and λ the wavelength.
So,
ν = (128) × (2.7) m/s
= 345.6 m/s
Therefore, velocity of sound is 346 m/s .
