Tea is cultivated on hill slopes.
Tea is grown on hill slopes because standing water is harmful to the tea crop. Water does not collect on the hill slopes.
Tea is cultivated on hill slopes because though the crop requires well distributed rainfall, and standing water is harmful to the crop. As water does not collect on the hill slopes it is ideal for tea plantations.
