  1. High temperatures and high rainfall are the main features of equatorial climate.
  2. The temperature of the Equatorial region is around 27 °C to 30 °C throughout the year.
  3. The mean annual rainfall in the Equatorial region is around 2500 mm to 3000 mm. It rains throughout the year in this region. 
  4. In the region of high temperatures and high rainfall, the process of soil formation is faster. Thus, due to high temperatures and high rainfall, the soil formation process is faster in the equatorial climate.
