d = 1000 km
R = 6400 km
g = 9.8 m/s2

Formula : 

`"Wd" = "m" xx "gd" = "mg"(("R" - "d"))/"R"`

gd = `"g"(("R" - "d"))/"d"`

= `(9.8(6400 - 1000))/6400`

= 9.8 × 0.843

gd = 8.268 m/s

Wd = m × gd

= 500 × 8.268

Wd = 4134.3 N
