A hemispherical tank has inner radius of 2.8 m. Find its capacity in litres.

Solution

Radius of tank =2.8m

∴ Capacity `= 2/3×22/7×
(2.8)^3`

= `45.99m^3`

∴ Capacity in liters = 45994 liters`[1m^3=1000]`
