p(x) = 5x – π, `x = 4/5`

Solution

If `x = 4/5` is a zero of polynomial p(x) = 5x − π , then `p(4/5)` should be 0.

Here, `p(4/5) = 5(4/5) - π = 4 - π`

As `p(4/5) ≠ 0`,

Therefore, `x = 4/5` is not a zero of the given polynomial.
