Question

A card is drawn from a well shuffled pack of 52 cards. Find the probability that the card drawn is:

ace and king

Solution

Number of possible outcomes when card is drawn from pack of 52 card=52

n(s)=52

A card cannot br both an ace as well as a king.

E= event of drawing an ace and a king =0

n(E)=0

Probability of drawing an ace and king=0

`(n(E))/(n(s))==0/52=0`
