Solution

The weights of new born babies (in kg) area as follows
2.3,2.2,2.1,2.7,2.6,2.5,3.0,2.8,2.9,3.1,2.5,2.8,2.7,2.9,2.4.

(i) The weights in descending order
3.1,3.0,2.9,2.9,2.8,2.8,2.7,2.7,2.6,2.5,2.5,2.4,2.3,2.2,2.1.

(ii) The highest weight =3.1kg

(iii) The lowest weight = 2.1kg

(iv) Range = 3.1-2.1=1.0kg

(v) 15 babies were born on that particular day

(vi) 4 babies weight below 2.5kg

(vii) Weight more than 2.8kg are 4-babies.

(viii) Weight 2.8kg →2 babies
