Solution 1

Tiger found in the civil area

- Barkha Dutt, Staff Reporter

Mumbai, 10th March 2021

A tiger was successfully tranquilized after being spotted roaming around in Sector 5, Vashi on Monday morning. After the wild cat was spotted at 8:15 a.m, the Vashi Police and the wildlife department were alerted. The feline was trapped by forest officials after hectic efforts of over five hours. The tiger got injured during the trapping operation. With the prevailing eerie silence owing to the curfew to limit the spread of coronavirus, the tiger from the nearby forest area entered the city in the wee hours and was spotted in a Sector 5 residential area. The police reached the spot and asked locals to stay away from the wild cat. The tiger kept hiding for about five hours before being tranquilised, a forest official reported. According to reports, a person saw a tiger moving in the front yard of Lotus View residential society (sector 2) at around 5 am. When he raised an alarm, the tiger jumped over the compound wall and fled into the nearby jungle. Apparently, the same tiger was seen in sector 4. It had killed a dog in the area and was seen by a couple of street hawkers on Wednesday. Forest department staffers have warned people against venturing into the jungle. People should avoid going near the jungle during the evening and morning hours.

Solution 2

THE RABBIT AND THE TORTOISE

One fine day, a rabbit was overstating that how fast he could run. He was laughing at the tortoise for being slow. The tortoise challenged him to a race. The rabbit was amused and accepted the challenge. As the race began, the rabbit was soon out of sight. He got halfway and could not see the tortoise. He was tired. He decided to rest for a while. Even if the tortoise crossed him, he would reach his goal in time. All this while, the tortoise didn't stop. However, the rabbit slept longer and woke up late. To his surprise, he could not see the tortoise anywhere! He reached the finish line but the tortoise had already emerged as the winner. Thus, slowly and steadily the tortoise won the race. The rabbit felt ashamed of his deeds.
