Solution

The chemical equation for the reaction is

2 Al + 2 NaOH + H20 -> 2 NaAl02 + 3H2 (3 x 22400 mL At N.T.P)
2 x 27 = 54 g.

54 g of Al at N.T.P release

H2 gas = 3 x 22400 0.15 g of Al at N.T.P release

`H_2 " gas" = (3xx22400xx0.15)/54`

= 186.7 mL

N.T.P condition `V_1` = 186.7 mL , `V_2 = ?`

`P_1` = 1.013 bar ,   `P_2` =  1 bar

`T_1` = 0 + 273 = 273 K,  `T_2` = 20 + 273 = 293 K

Accourding to gas equation

`(P_1V_1)/T_1 = (P_2V_2)/T_2`   or` V_2 = (P_1V_1T_2)/(P_2T_1)`

`V_2 = (1.013 "bar" xx 186.7 mL xx 293K)/ (1 "bar" xx 273 K)`

= 203 mL
