Question

The density of copper is 8.9 g cm-3. What will be its density in kg m-3 ?

Solution

Density of copper d = 8.9 g `cm^-3`

                                 = 8.9 x 1000 kg `m^-3`

                                                     [ ∴ 1 g `cm^-3 = 1000  kg  m^-3`]

                                 = 8900 kg `m^-3`
