Solution

1 mi = 1.6 km
1 km = 1000 m

For the snail, average speed = 0.02 mi/h = $\frac{0 . 020 \times 1 . 6 \times 1000}{3600} = 0 . 0089 m/s$

For the leopard, average speed = 70 mi/h = $\frac{70 \times 1 . 6 \times 1000}{3600}m/\sec = 31 m/s$
