To show: C – B ⊂ C – A

Let *x* ∈ C – B

⇒ *x *∈ C and *x* ∉ B

⇒ *x* ∈ C and *x* ∉ A [A ⊂ B]

⇒ *x* ∈ C – A

∴ C – B ⊂ C – A
