The vegetation of deserts :

  1. Cacti, thorny scrub, and wiry grass, herbs, weed.
  2. The vegetation may not appear green and fresh all the time.
  3. Vegetation consists of entire drought resisting plants – Xerophytes.
  4. Dwarf trees like acacia are found.
  5. Date palms are found near the oases.
