Solution 2

If elements are arranged in order of increasing atomic masses, the properties of every eighth element is a kind of repetition of first on, just like the notes of music

E.g.,

 Li, Be, B, C, N, O, F, Na
(1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8)

The first element (Li) and 8th element (Na) have similar properties.
