Required area = int_0^(pi/3)y*dx,  "where"  y = sin x

= int_0^(pi/3) sinx*dx

= [ - cos x]_0^(pi/3)

= - cos  pi/(3) + cos 0

= -(1)/(2) + 1

= (1)/(2)"sq unit".
