6x2 + 3x - 4x - 2 = 0

3x(2x + 1) - 2(2x + 1) = 0

(3x - 2)(2x + 1) = 0

either 3x - 2 = 0 or 2x + 1 = 0

3x = 2 or 2x = -1

x = 2/3 or x = -1/2

Thus, x = 2/3 and x = -1/2 are two roots of the equation 6x2 - x - 2 = 0
