`1/3"x" - 6 = 5/2`

 

`=> 1/3"x" = 5/2 + 6/1`

 

`=> 1/3"x" = (5 xx 1)/(2 xx 1) + (6 xx 2)/(1 xx 2)`

 

`=> 1/3"x" = 5/2 + 12/2`

 

`=> 1/3"x" = (5 + 12)/2`

 

`= 1/3"x" = 17/2`

 

`= "x" = (17 xx 3)/(2 xx 1) = 51/2 = 25 1/2`
