−3 (1 − x2) − 2 {x2 − (3 − 2x2)}

= −3 + 3x2 − 2 {x2 − 3 + 2x2}

= −3 + 3x2 − 2{3x2 − 3}

= −3 + 3x2 − 6x2 + 6

= 3 − 3x2
