#### Solution

The equations of the given lines are

3x + 2y + 9 = 0   ......(1)

12x + 8y – 15 = 0   ......(2)

Slope of line (1) m1 = - ("coefficient of " x)/("coefficient of"  y)

m1 = - 3/2

Slope of line (2) m2 = - 12/8

m2 = - 3/2

Here m1 = m2

∴ The given lines are parallel.
