A bag contains 100 identical marble stones which are numbered 1 to 100. If one stone is drawn at random from the bag, find the probability that it bears: 

a number divisible by 5 

Solution

Total number of possible outcomes=100 

Number which are divisible by 5=5,10,,,15,20,,25,30,35,40,45,50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100

Number of favorable outcomes=20 

p(number diviisible by 5)=`20/100=1/5`
