A bag contains 100 identical marble stones which are numbered 1 to 100. If one stone is drawn at random from the bag, find the probability that it bears:  

 a number divisible by 4 and 5 

Solution

Total number of possible outcomes=100 

Numbers which are divisible by 4 and 5 =200,40,60,80,100 

Number  of favourable outcomes=5 

p(number divisible by 4 and 5)=`5/100=1/20`
