Out of starch and ferric hydroxide sol, which one can easily be coagulated and why? Ans: Ferric hydroxide can be easily coagulated by heating, evaporating medium etc than starch. Ferric hydroxide is a Lyophobic colloid, hence interaction between dispersed phase in dispersion medium a weak. While starch a Lyphilic collide (Liquid loving) so it is stable and does not easily coagulate
