Solution

Price of a computer = ₹ 32,000

Rate of commission = 12.5%

Commission for one computer

= 32,000 × 12.5%

= ₹ 4,000

Total commission earned is ₹ 88,000.

Number of total computers sold

`= "Total commission"/"Commission per Computers"`

`= 88000/4000` = 22

∴ 22 Computers were sold to get a total commission of ₹ 88,000
