#### Solution

25 – 4x ≤ 16

-4x ≤ 16 – 25

-4x ≤ -9

x ≥ 9/4

x ≥ 2.25

(1) The smallest value of x, when x is a real number, is 2.25.

(2) The smallest value of x, when x is an integer, is 3.
