# If the Length of a Diagonal of a Cube is 8 √ 3 Cm, Then Its Surface Area is - Mathematics

MCQ
Short Note

If the length of a diagonal of a cube is 8 sqrt(3) cm, then its surface area is

• 512 cm2

•  384 cm2

• 192 cm2

•  768 cm2

#### Solution

Let,

a→ Side of the cube

Length of the diagonal = 8sqrt(3) cm

sqrt(3a) = 8 sqrt(3)

a = 8 cm

We have to find the surface area of the cube

Surface area of the cube,

=6a^2

=6xx8^2

=384  cm^2

Thus, surface area of the cube is  384 cm2
