Question

If `[(4, -2),(4, 0)] + 3A = [(-2,-2),(1, -3)]` Find A

Solution

`[(4, -2),(4, 0)] + 3A = [(-2,-2),(1, -3)]`

`3A = [(-2, -2),(1, -3)] - [(4, -2),(4, 0)]`

`3A = [(-2-4  -2 + 2),(1 - 4   -3- 0)]`

`3A = [(-6     0),(-3-3)]`

`A = 1/3[(-6        0),(-3  -3)] = [(-2      0),(-1 -1)]`

Is there an error in this question or solution?
