Solution

Mass of sodium = 34.5g

We know that 1 mole of sodium weighs 23g.

Therefore, 34.5g of sodium  = 34.5 / 23 = 1.5 moles

Hence, 34.5g of sodium contain 1.5 moles of sodium.
